Charlene Rees is a Graduate Gemologist with over 50 years experience in the jewelry business. Charlene holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts and Masters of Art and received her gemological certification in 1982. Throughout her career, Charlene and Bert worked side by side in their home studio, with Bert doing design work and repair and Charlene doing appraisals. In March 2014, she relocated Rees Jewelry from a small office space to historic downtown Nacogdoches. From the beginning, Rees Jewelry has been a family owned business. Today, Chay Rees Runnels assists her mom with social media and marketing when she isn't working at SFA in the School of Human Sciences.
In House Jeweler Burton Crain has been in the jewelry industry for 27 years. He holds a degree in Jewelry from Paris Junior College. Burton is able to repair, design and customize any piece of jewelry for our clients.
Dianne Hagar has had years of experience helping her friends and others find the right piece of jewelry at the right price. Dianne loves pearls and natural emeralds.
Luke Hager is the watch battery and link specialist for Rees Jewelry. Prior to coming to Rees Jewelry, Luke was a minister and builder.
Piper Adkins has lived in Nacogdoches for over 10 years. She is certified by the Diamond Council of America in jewelry sales and diamonds. Her favorite gemstone is tanzanite.
Joshua Rasmussen is a born and raised Nacogdochian with a love of building and design that began with Legos and Lincoln Logs. He attended SFA at the bright age of sixteen where he studied jewelry among other things and hopes to continue his education in finance and economics
Beulah is the official store greeter for Rees Jewelry. She always has a ready smile and sniff for our customers. Beulah has overcome paralysis in her back legs and loves nothing more than being at the store to say hello. She also really loves tacos and belly rubs.
